Take advantage of the fact that oil filters become more efficient with age—changing them early actually resets their performance (lower efficiency). Our Premium analysis produces the ISO cleanliness code, which reveals the level of particulate matter in the oil. Healthy engines with properly functioning filters have low levels of particulate matter. However, engines in distress or experiencing filtration problems will have a higher level of particulate matter. As such, the results from the extra particle count test provide valuable insight that standard test procedures do not yield.
You don't have to change your oil to take an oil sample!
Using the vacuum pump, a sample of the oil can be taken via the dipstick tube. This allows you to take a sample and get your results before doing your regular oil change. Based on the results of the sample, you can make data-driven decisions - extend the oil change interval, change the oil now, change the viscosity of the oil, etc....Because you might have more than one car, you can also add an additional sample bottle to the kit.
The FedEx return envelope can hold up to 2 samples, so one kit can service more than one vehicle.
